History

Rodion Pedia is an educational institution that provides high-level education to pupils of primary and secondary education.  It is a school that can adapt to the different needs of each pupil in order to develop his abilities to the fullest extent.
Today, Rodion Pedia includes Kindergarten, Primary, Secondary and Senior High School.
It started operation in September of the school year 2003-2004 with Primary, Secondary school and the first two grades of Senior High School.  The next school year, the third grade of Senior High School was included.  In September 2007, Kindergarten started operating.  In 2010, the sports center "Rodion Athlisis" was founded, which includes a high quality gymnasium and a heated swimming pool, as well as additional sports fields and dance halls, making the educational services provided even more complete.

During its ten years of operation, Rodion Pedia made the above ideas reality, and by meeting the new educational needs and challenges of our time, they have actively put the pupil at the center of learning for the continuous improvement of the level of study and the quality of education provided.  They have achieved the development of a creative and open educational environment of collaborative construction of knowledge, which encourages and creates innovation.  It has been established nationally as an exceptional school, not only because of its pupils’ achievements in education, but also for their successful participation in various forms of social life.  With hard work and dedication, our school has managed to achieve what most people thought impossible, and that still today characterize most impressive: to be a model of innovative action and organization, as well as a school of quality.  Today, it is recognized by renowned foreign researchers, who speak highly of the academic work being done in our school, and they rated it amongst the best schools in Europe.
