My name is Nefeli Dimitropoulou. I am a graduate of the Pedagogical Department of Primary Education at the University of Rhodes. In 2018, I visited "RODION PEDIA" for the first time during a Creative Writing seminar. Upon graduating from my studies, I realized that I truly wanted to contribute to the journey of discovering methods to support and highlight the abilities of individuals with special needs. This led me to pursue a Master's degree in "Special Education" at the University of Nicosia, as I believe that working with individuals who have different abilities is a vocation.
Before joining our Educational Institutions, I worked as a parallel support teacher, applying all the theories I learned during my postgraduate studies. In 2023, I was honored to become part of the teaching staff at "RODION PEDIA," as I saw it as a challenge to join an innovative school with significant achievements.
My communication skills, patience, and perseverance were further strengthened by the warm welcome I received from my colleagues from day one. As M. Forbes wrote, "The purpose of education is to replace an empty mind with an open one," and I completely agree with this sentiment, as it is the only way we can view the world through different eyes!
