I am a musician and have been working at our school since 2015, initially as a flute and recorder teacher. Since the 2016-17 school year, I have been teaching music in the Middle School while also taking on the role of Artistic Director of the newly established "RODION Odeion."
I studied Flute and Classical Percussion at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki. From a young age, I actively participated in all student music events in my hometown of Naoussa, Imathia, which led me to decide to pursue music exclusively. As a restless musical spirit, I explored music in every possible way. My studies include diplomas in Advanced Music Theory (Harmony, Counterpoint, Fugue), Byzantine Ecclesiastical Music, Vocal Training, Instrumentation & Band Conducting. Music education has been a significant part of my journey. Since 2002, I have taught at prestigious conservatories such as Philippos Nakas Conservatory, YMCA, and Municipal Conservatories in Kozani, Naoussa, Ampelokipoi, Aristoxenio Conservatory, and the Hellenic College of Thessaloniki.
Throughout my long career, I have collaborated with many and varied music ensembles: the Symphony Orchestra of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, the Municipality of Larissa, the Municipality of Kalamaria, the Orchestra of K.O.TH. and A.U.TH., the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, Orpheus Harmony, CODEX, among others.
I am a founding member of the flamenco music and dance group "Caja Secreta."
With two CD albums (Primero, 2011 & Partir, 2018), I have performed at significant festivals, on television, and on the radio: Athens and Thessaloniki Concert Halls, KOTH Underground, Para Thin'alos, Olympus Festival, ERT3 Volume, and others.
Additionally, I have composed music for theater and dance productions: "The Sleep of Reason Produces Monsters" (2011), "MEMO" (2014) for the Tellogleio Foundation of Arts-AUTh, "What is Missing" (Aulaia Theater, Thessaloniki 2017).
I believe that "Music is intertwined with human existence."
I love swimming, cycling, and connecting with nature.
