School Level: Primary School, Secondary School (Gymnasium),High School
Employed Since: 2024
My family is my foundation and daily inspiration. I am married and the mother of a child who attends the second grade of high school, Christos. With him I experience every moment of life and everything next to him acquires a special fulfillment, as he reminds me every day of the vitality and authenticity of adolescence. This is also the reason why I choose activities that bring us together, such as contact with nature, while my love for sports remains alive, even if I now enjoy it more often "from the stands".
My choice to engage in education was a natural development, as already from my student years my teachers constantly urged me towards teaching. I studied at the Department of History and Archaeology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. I am currently attending the University of the Peloponnese program on School Leadership and School Life Management. At the same time, I have participated in numerous workshops and seminars on current issues, such as Artificial Intelligence in education, the challenges of the internet, learning difficulties and student psychology, seeking to always be next to the modern needs of children.
My journey at the Schools "RODION PAIDEIA" already counts 10 years. During this decade, I had the opportunity to develop professionally and take on positions of responsibility, such as Head of the Afternoon Class and Director of the Mathisis Team. My involvement in different fields beyond the purely educational process has been decisive. The skills I developed there in organization, decision-making and teamwork, allowed me to respond not only to the educational, but also to the administrative part of our school.
An important milestone in my career is the nationwide award with the 1st Prize by the Ministry of Education and UNICEF for two consecutive years. Together with my students, we created fairy tales about human rights, proving that when children are inspired, they have the power to transform their inspiration into great creations.
As a teacher, I am characterized by a sense of responsibility and a belief in the child's need to approach knowledge in an experiential and enjoyable way. I believe that when a child learns through creative activities and play, he develops skills that help him bring out his own unique talents and build a strong personality with values for life.
