Microsoft Innovative Education Expert

Employed Since: 2015

Ever since I can remember, I wanted to work in the field of education. Surrounded and inspired by gifted educators and remarkable individuals, to whom I am especially grateful for everything they offered me, it was only natural for me to develop a particular affinity for Philology, especially with a specialization in Classical Studies. I love being an educator because every day I feel like a child among children. The feeling of gradually witnessing a child's growth and progress, knowing that you have contributed a small part to it, is unique!

In 2015, I was fortunate to join the family of the "RODION PAIDEIA" Educational Institutions and to meet exceptional, genuine, and supportive colleagues. I work as a philologist at our school, and I am responsible for the editing and chief editorial work of the electronic magazine "Syndetiras" of the "RODION PAIDEIA" Educational Group. Additionally, I coordinate the school's Alternative Education Zone, which is part of informal education, where our students have the opportunity to develop skills and abilities through the "Clubs" that will be useful in their future lives.

Throughout my career, I have had numerous and notable successes, especially in preparing students for the national exams, where they have achieved outstanding results.
Being multi-talented and a lifelong learner, I have always desired to acquire new knowledge and continuously evolve, but most importantly, to teach by example. I attend seminars and training related to philological, educational, pedagogical, and psychological topics, as well as ICT-related issues. In addition, I have an excellent command of English, a good command of German, and certification in computer skills, and I am soon to complete my postgraduate studies in the "Intervention Models in Special Education" program at the University of the Aegean.
"Carpe diem!" is my favorite expression, and I strive to give each day special value, with a smile and a positive attitude. Education is my passion, and I consider education to be one of the most important assets of a person.
I believe that our world can become better if we cultivate the values of selfless love, giving, solidarity, and mutual respect.
I am very passionate about basketball, which is also my favorite activity in my free time, and I especially enjoy traveling, good company, reading literary books, and quality movies.
