I studied at the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics at the University of Thessaly in Lamia, specializing in network security. During my studies, I was particularly drawn to programming, cryptography, and robotics.
As a highly social person, I formed strong and lasting friendships during my student years, both with my fellow students—many of whom are now my close friends and even godparents to my children—and with my professors, who helped me take my first professional steps in Athens. There, I worked for a year at a large IT company collaborating with the organizing committee of the "ATHENS 2004" Olympic Games. It was an incredible period for me, as I gained early experience with very advanced systems available in Greece. During that time, I also earned my first certification as a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) in network security.
Later, my military service led me to pause my collaboration with this company and return to Rhodes to fulfill my national duty. This marked a pivotal crossroads in my life. I am a restless person, constantly seeking to evolve and move forward. During my time in the military, I had ample free time, and it was then that I received my first job offer in the field of education from the tutoring center where I was once a high school student. From then on, my path was clear: education had won me over. Interacting with students is a continuous challenge and source of inspiration.
After many years as an educator in secondary education tutoring centers, I joined "RODION PAIDEIA" in 2013. That was when I had the opportunity to engage deeply with educational robotics, which I love because I believe it helps cultivate essential 21st-century skills in our students. In 2013, I became the Director of "RODION Mathisis," and in 2020, the school honored me by entrusting me with the role of Middle School Principal.
At the Middle School of our Educational Institutions, we implement an innovative teaching model (One to One Devices and Learning), where students use their personal computers in class.
I am the son of Dionysia and Michalis and the younger brother of Doukissa and Vasilis. I am a proud father of Dione and a happy husband to Matina. In my free time, I relax by playing padel.
