I am an educator with the exciting privilege of drawing energy from students and keeping my spirit youthful. My journey began in the field of tutorial education in 1994, and I started working at our school from its very foundation, following a successful long-term collaboration with key members of the institution. I am a graduate of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, from the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy, and Psychology.
Alongside my studies, I gained valuable experience at the Open Psychotherapeutic Center of the Institute of Group Analysis in Athens, enriching my educational journey with significant knowledge.
Throughout my extensive career, I have primarily focused on preparing students for their entrance into higher education, contributing to their success. I have attended numerous pedagogical training seminars, psychology conferences, and counseling seminars for children and adolescents.
I hold certifications in the English language, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), and I recently obtained the Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) title. Since 2005, I have coordinated the school's Psychology Club, implementing activities aimed at raising awareness about mental health issues and empowering students.
Since 2010, the school has entrusted me with a beautiful and creative role. I am the coordinator of the end-of-year celebration held in the medieval Moat. Additionally, I have the honor of coordinating the dynamic team of Philologists at our school and serving as the school's life coordinator.
In 2022, I began postgraduate studies in the Master’s program at the University of the Aegean, focusing on "Ancient Theater: Educational and Philological Approaches."
I love sports and enjoy winning European trophies with Panathinaikos’ basketball team.
I am married to Miranda, an English Philology professor, and we have two children, Giannis, a Social Worker and postgraduate student at Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU), and Michalis, a graduate of the Department of Communication, Media, and Culture at Panteion University and a postgraduate student in Digital Marketing at the Ionian University.
