I was born in the beautiful city of Kastoria in 1966, to Vasilis and Aikaterini. However, I grew up in various parts of Greece due to my father's career as an officer in the Greek Army's artillery. Every two years, we moved to a new location, bringing new experiences, friendships, and schools. I completed high school in Veria in 1984. From a young age, I aspired to study Mathematics, a dream I successfully fulfilled. In 1984, I was admitted to the Mathematics Department of the School of Physics and Mathematics at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. I followed a new program that combined Mathematics with Informatics and all fields of Applied Statistics. This program allowed me to acquire additional knowledge and skills in other scientific areas. Additionally, I have attended conferences and seminars on career guidance, teaching skills, website construction, and computer software and hardware.
I have been in the field of education since 1990. I founded my own tutoring center, "Efarmogi," which I ran until 2021. After a discussion with my great friend, Kyriakos Kyriakoulis, we considered the possibility of me teaching at the "RODION PAIDEIA" Educational Institutions. I started teaching there, and since then, I have had the pleasure of working with esteemed colleagues in this wonderful school.
I am married to Eleni, and we have two children: Vasilis, who studied Physics at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and continued his studies with a scholarship in the Astrophysics Department at Princeton University in the United States, and Michalis, who recently completed his studies in the Mathematics Department at the University of Crete.
I love painting, and my beloved hobby is playing the guitar, which relaxes and transports me!
