Doria
Panai
Position: English Teacher
School Level: Kindergarten, Primary School
Employed Since: 2020
My name is Doria Panai, and I am an English Language and Literature teacher. I began working at "RODION PAIDEIA" in 2020.
As an alumna of Rodion Paideia, I completed my studies at the Department of English Language and Literature at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, graduating with honors. While working, I continued my postgraduate studies in Anglophone Literature and Culture at the same university, focusing on three literary texts (two novellas and a play) through a post-colonial approach.
A pivotal experience during my university years was the summer of my first year, during which I worked as an assistant English teacher at the Summer School of our Educational Institutions, an experience that deepened my love for teaching the English language. Another unforgettable memory is the six months I spent studying at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice through the Erasmus program during the fourth year of my undergraduate studies.
It is very important to me to incorporate play, song, and movement into my teaching so that children, especially those in the younger grades, are introduced to the world of English in the most enjoyable and engaging way possible.
I am passionate about theater and literature, which I consider valuable tools for learning a foreign language, especially outside the traditional classroom environment.
