I was born in Montreal, Canada, in 1968 and grew up in Mississauga, a suburb of Toronto. After finishing high school, I studied Anthropology at the University of Toronto, graduating in 1992. Upon arriving in Greece, I fulfilled my military service and later met the love of my life in Athens, who is also an English teacher.
My decision to enhance my pedagogical knowledge led me to enroll at the Institute of Education, University of London (now UCL), where I graduated in 2000 with an Advanced Diploma in Education, specializing in Child Development and Educational Psychology. I continued my educational journey at the University of Manchester, where I completed a Master's in School Management and Computer Assisted Language Learning.
In 2003, my wife was appointed to a position in Rhodes, and we decided to make this beautiful island our permanent home. In 2015, I refreshed my knowledge of new pedagogical methods and English language teaching with studies at the University of Calgary, Canada (Cert. TSL).
Since 1994, I have taught all levels of English, specializing in language proficiency exams for teenagers and adults, as well as IELTS exams for students aiming to enter English-speaking universities abroad. I also prepare students for the Panhellenic Exams in the special subject of English. Alongside my teaching work, I have collaborated with a publishing house to develop educational materials and have been active as a director/coordinator in private education in both Rhodes and Athens.
I began my collaboration with "RODION PAIDEIA" in 2016 as an English teacher and Coordinator of the Foreign Language Department at "RODION Mathisis." In 2021, I assumed the role of Director of "RODION Mathisis."
With the love of my life, we have two wonderful children. I enjoy growing up with them and spending my free time creatively, engaging with new technologies, gardening, and traveling.
