Foreign Languages

At the "RODION PAIDEIA" school, we place great emphasis on foreign language education, continuously adapting it to meet contemporary demands.
We recognize the importance of learning foreign languages as a crucial tool for communication, cultural understanding, and the academic development of our students. Our students progress by learning to use foreign languages as practical tools for communication and interaction, both within the school environment and in their broader social context.
Our school is an official partner of the British Council, Cambridge University, Goethe-Institut, and Institut Français, and has served as an examination center for many of the diplomas we offer.

Foreign Language Learning Program

English is taught from Kindergarten, while French and German are introduced starting in third grade.
Our students have the opportunity to obtain their basic language certificates by the first year of High School (A’ Lyceum) so that by the second year (B’ Lyceum), they can focus on their chosen academic and professional paths without distractions.
With our implemented teaching program, small intensive classes, and increased teaching hours, our students achieve all their language certifications during their school years without the need for additional external assistance.
Class placement is based on students’ performance throughout the previous year, their average written scores, and the results of the evaluation tests at the end of the year.
Our school aims to fully meet the learning needs of students in foreign language education so that they do not require extracurricular lessons. Through the school’s teaching hours, students are well-prepared to achieve the necessary diplomas.

English Language

In Kindergarten and first grade, the program is designed to help children familiarize themselves with the English language through experiential learning, songs, dance, theater, and stories. Our goal is for students to consider English as a medium of expression in various forms.
In second and third grade, the program includes systematic practice in writing and reading, and an introduction to basic grammar concepts and understanding simple texts. This lays the necessary foundation for students to progress to the higher grades, where they receive more structured teaching in more complex language structures, in both spoken and written forms.
From the fourth grade and throughout middle school (Gymnasium), we continue with targeted teaching in level-based and small groups. By the end of the second year of middle school (B’ Gymnasium), most students are prepared to take the B2 level exams, while by the end of the third year of middle school (C’ Gymnasium) or the first year of high school (A’ Lyceum), many students are ready to progress to the C2 level exams.
At our school, students can prepare for the following certificates:

German & French

Starting in the third grade, the learning of a second foreign language begins within our school’s extended program. Our aim is to help our students acquire a solid and conscious understanding of the German and French languages and to develop an appreciation for the language and the culture that accompanies it.
Even in primary school, our students participate in exams for their first language proficiency certification at level A1. In middle school, they continue with exams up to level B2.
At our school, students can prepare for the following certificates:
